What I Wish I Knew about Breastfeeding

Thanks very much for agreeing to pass on passing on a bit of your hindsight, there are a lot of mums who will be very grateful. We just need some details from you first. Please note this information will never be shared with anyone. Not ever.

(N.B. A little red asterisk means that field is mandatory.)

Thank you. There are only two rules for answering the questions. Please waffle all you want and let us pick out the great stuff. And don't worry about sounding 'quotable', just be honest – we'll craft up your thoughts and show you before it ever goes to print.

Okay, have a think back to when you were a new mum and imagine being able to go back and have a chat with your younger self about the whole thing...

Oh, and please, please, please copy your text before pressing the 'Send Email' button below. I don't want any of those horrible 'OMG!' computer moments where your answers are lost. 😉

What would you tell yourself is the best thing about breastfeeding?

Are there any mistakes you might have avoided?

Any advice about how to handle physical discomfort - and even excruciating pain (Ouch!) - that is sometimes part of it?

If a young niece or cousin was just about to have a baby and asked you for breastfeeding tips, what advice would you give them?

What are your thoughts on breastfeeding in public?

Sometimes it helps to look on the lighter side, so do you have any funny stories from your experience breastfeeding?

If you could go back and give yourself just one piece of advice about breastfeeding what would it be?

Now it's time to upload your photo – all my books put a nerdy younger photo of each person next to their advice, just so all this great insight doesn't get too smug. 😉

And lastly please have a read of these terms and conditions for being in the series, and tick the ‘accept’ button below
